< p > Jože Plečnik, also known as Josip Plečnik in the Czech Republic, (23 January 1872 in Ljubljana - 7 January 1957) was a Slovenian architect and urbanist who made a significant contribution to the contemporary appearance of Prague Castle in the 1920s and 1930s. It also significantly influenced its home town, which was therefore included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. < / p >
