< p > Jan Josef Wirch (15 October 1732 Košetice - 1802 Teplice) was a Czech architect and builder of the late Baroque and rococo periods. Next to Anselmo Luraga, he is one of the most important representatives of Czech Rococo architecture. In his work he followed up on the domestic traditions of the Czech high baroque and the works of the Dientzenhofers as well as on Vienna architecture, especially the work of J. B. Fischer of Erlach. In its buildings, the emphasis of the central axis was applied in various stages as a distinctive architectural principle. His frequent associate was sculptor Ignac František Platzer. < / p >
