Antonio Gabri

< p > Antonio Gabri (around 1550 in northern Italy - about October 1593, Brno) was a builder of North Italian origin, operating in Moravia, mainly in Brno. < / p > < p > Born around 1550 in northern Italy, probably in Lombardy. Around 1570 he came to Brno with his whole family - mother, sister Ursula and especially older brother Pietro, a respected builder master, on whose buildings he worked (and after his death in 1585 he took over their completion). In 1580 he became a master builder and a Brno townsman, in Brno he also won most of his orders. In early October 1593 he died in Brno. < / p > < p > Antonio Gabri belongs - next to his brother Pietro, with whom he worked closely - to important Renaissance architects and builders working in Moravia, especially in Brno. In addition to the North Italian influence, the formation of the film shows an initial decorative mannerism. < / p >
