< p > Alois Živý was an important Czech architect known for his work mainly in functional style. He was born in 1888 and his career included several key projects that influenced Czech architecture throughout the second half of the 20th century. < / p > < p > Live specialized in the creation of public buildings and infrastructure, which included schools, hospitals and other construction projects focused on functionality and modern design. His work was strongly influenced by the principles of functionalism, which highlighted the practicality and simplicity. < / p > < p > His most important projects include the design of the Czech Radio building in Prague. Live also contributed to the development of Czech architecture through his teaching activities when he taught at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague. < / p >
