Adolf Liebscher

< p > Adolf Liebscher ml. was a Czech architect, urbanist, teacher and painter born on 3 May 1887 in Prague-Králové Vinohrady. During his life he became an important person in his field, mainly thanks to his pedagogical activities at the Czech Technical University in Brno and his architectural project for many Czechoslovak cities. Liebscher graduated from CVUT, where he specialized in construction, and during his life he made several study trips throughout Europe which enabled him to expand his knowledge and influence his architectural approach. < / p > < p > In his professional career Liebscher devoted not only to building design but also to teaching. Between 1923 and 1948 he raised several interwar generations of Czech architects, including Josef Kranz. His influence on Czech architecture manifested itself not only in his construction projects, but also through students who subsequently contributed to the development of the Czech architectural heritage. < / p > < p > Despite his legacy, Liebscher was accused of collaborating with the Germans after World War II, leading to his transfer to permanent rest in 1949. However, these allegations were later refuted and Liebscher was postmortem rehabilitation in 1969. He died on 27 September 1965 in his home town of Prague. < / p >
