The Church of Saint John the Baptist in Určice is a Catholic parish church with historical significance dating back to at least 1288. Situated in the village of Určice within the Olomoucký kraj region, this monument highlights its enduring importance to the community. Over time, it has undergone various structural modifications and became a notable pilgrimage site in the early 19th century due to Marian pilgrimages. Although these pilgrimages ceased before World War I, they were revived in the 21st century. A significant restoration took place in the 1990s to stabilize the building's foundations.

First documented around 1288, during Bohemia's time within the Holy Roman Empire, the church existed amidst significant religious and political developments. The late 13th century saw local nobility consolidating power and increasing the church's influence in regional affairs. Over time, the small stone church underwent modifications to meet community needs.

Architecturally, the Church of Saint John the Baptist has experienced several construction and renovation phases. Initially modest, it was modified over time with notable contributions from Kateřina z Kravař a Plumlova in 1428. She endowed the church with liturgical items and land for self-sufficiency. The bell tower beside the church dates back to the mid-15th century, adding historical significance.

Kateřina z Kravař a Plumlova played a pivotal role in the church's history. Her foundation in 1428 enhanced its liturgical and financial stability. She donated four silver-gilt chalices, a silver-gilt cross, six Roman-style vestments for services, a red and white cope, an image of Saint Procopius encased in gilded silver, and several Latin liturgical books including missals and graduals. Her endowment also included twenty cows, tithes from the local community, six quarters of land, three peasants to serve the parish, a meadow for processions, rights to use 40 provázek of forest, and nine gardeners obligated to work at the church.

The church became an important pilgrimage site in the early 19th century due to Marian pilgrimages. This tradition was linked to a miraculous event when an image of the Virgin Mary placed on a spruce tree by a soldier named Bartoloměj Hrdiboský reportedly led to numerous healings, spreading its fame beyond Určice. Although these pilgrimages ceased before World War I, they were revived in the 21st century.

In the late 20th century, a crypt was opened revealing remains of local clergy from the 18th century, adding another layer to the church's historical narrative. The significant restoration undertaken in the 1990s addressed structural issues, ensuring the building's stability for future generations.
