The Most Závodu míru is a technologically advanced, arch-shaped bridge connecting two banks of the Vltava River in Prague-Zbraslav. Its innovative construction and historical significance as the first bridge downstream from the main city make it a notable monument.

Originally built in 1896, the most was constructed using iron and stood at a higher elevation than its current position. The original structure was replaced in 1964 with a new, technologically advanced concrete bridge featuring an innovative design and construction method. This made it the first arch-shaped bridge in the world to be constructed using self-supporting reinforced concrete.

Located near the confluence of the Vltava and Berounka rivers, the most is situated close to Prague-Zbraslav railway station. During its construction, Prague was undergoing rapid urbanization and industrialization.

The current bridge measures 210 meters long, with one arch spanning 75 meters and three piers on each side. The road surface is 9 meters wide and sits at a height of approximately 12 meters above the river. On the left bank, it crosses the II/102 road, while on the right bank, it carries the railway line from Prague to Vrané nad Vltavou.

The most was built by Stavby silnic a železnic according to the project of Ing. J. Tvrzník. Its first users were cyclists participating in the Závodu míru event. The bridge underwent restoration work in 1997.

Today, the Most Závodu míru is an important landmark and a testament to innovative engineering. Visitors can access the bridge via the II/102 road or the railway station. This monument is worth visiting for its unique history and architectural design.
