Andělská Hora čp. 176 House

The Rural House No. 176, located on the cadastral territory of the Andel Mountains in Silesia, is a representative of a folk culture of the Eastern Sudeten type and was declared a cultural monument of the Czech Republic in 2001. This house is located on the southern part of the square off the main road II / 452 and represents an architectural record from the turn of the 18th and 19th centuries.

The house was built during the period when fundamental cultural and social changes were taking place in Europe, which also affected the architecture of rural houses. In the Czech Republic, folk culture developed with characteristic building elements. Rural House No. 176 is a representative of this type and its architecture reflects the traditions of the time.

The exterior of the house is a walled plastered building on the ground plan of the rectangle, built on a tall stone suspect. It has a halibut roof covered by slate and the north side of the roof is a planed skyline with a saddle roof covered by eternite. The eastern wall shield has broken three rectangular windows and one semi-circular glazed view, while the western wall shield has three semi-circular views. The south gutter side of the house has six window axes and three window axes in the shield facade. In the north gutter side there is an entrance with two-wing doors, while modern windows are double and divided into three parts. The building material was used by quarry stone and brick.

The interior of the house has a three-dimensional six-space chamber interior available with an entrance hall. In the right part there are two skylights with flat ceilings and entrance to the cellar, which has a valed vault broken down by passports. In the left side there is a small sideshow, entrance to the soil, scar and saint. The scar has a beam tipper ceiling with trays and a tile stove is located in it.

The proposal to declare the house for cultural monument was filed in 1998. Two years later, in 2001, the house was declared a cultural monument by the Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic.

Today, the country house No. 176 is in a state that allows its visit and provides an overview of the architectural traditions of the Eastern Sudeten type. It is a place where history and cultural heritage of the region can be understood.
