The Church of Saint Anne in Žirči, today part of Dvůr Králové nad Labem, is a former parish church and now a subsidiary church. On its site stood a court of the Prague bishops already in the eleventh century, and later a fortified manor, which Adam Zilvár of Pilníkov rebuilt anew in fifteen eighty-one. From sixteen fifty-three to seventeen seventy-three, the place was used by Viennese Jesuits. They rebuilt the older spaces into a residence, and from sixteen sixty-eight to seventeen hundred and three they built a Baroque church. It was consecrated on November fourth, seventeen hundred and three by Tobiáš Becker, bishop of Hradec Králové.
The church with the residence adjoins the site of a former prayer house of Lutheran German nobility. Later a Jesuit oratory with three altars was established there. The main one, dedicated to Saint Francis Xavier, is today in a side chapel. The smaller altars depict the death of Saint Stanislaus and Saint Rosalia.
