Mariánské sloup se sochou Panny Marie a kašna, located in the village of Krajková in the district of Sokolov Karlovy Vary, is a Baroque sculpture work from 1701. This monument has been protected by a cultural monument since 1963 and its fountain was declared a cultural monument in 1987. The column, donated by Marie Polyxena the Countess of Písnice, is remarkable for its historical significance and architectural features.

The creation of the Marian Column dates back to 1701, when it was erected as a gift of Marie Polyxena the Countess of the Písnice. The author of this sculpture is Cheb sculptor Peter Anton Felssner. The column is located close to the church of St. Peter and Paul in the square of Charles IV, facing northeast. In archival sources the description of the column is given only in the inventory of statues of the parish in Krajková, which suggests its importance to the local community.

Architecturally, the column is built on a square base with three stairs. On the corners around the base there are posts with a prism foot and a ball head. The French plinth ends with a ledge with a rough profile on which is a smooth stick with a Corinthian head. On the front side of the plinth, the coat of arms of the Hrzans from Harasova is cut, as evidenced by the monogram M.P.V.P.G.H.G.V.H (Marie Polyxena of the Scriptures, born Hrzanova of Harasova). At the top of the column is a statue of the Virgin Mary holding Jesus on her hands. The sculpture is made of granite, sandstone and trachy.

The history of the column was noted by several key events. At the beginning of the 20th century, the abrasion of the top sculpture was so advanced that Countess Františka Kopal asked Cheb sculptor Karl Wilfert to make a copy of the statue. This copy was mounted on the column in 1922 and, according to the period printing, was unrecognizable from the original. During the inspection of the column on 11 June 2003 it was noted that the stairs were spaced, the prism plinth damaged and part missing. In 2012, the column was carried out because of the damaged static of the monument to prevent its fall. The restoration took place between 2013 and 2014 with the support of the Regional Office in Karlovy Vary and the company TERRIGENA ART s.r.o.

Today the Mariánské pole in Krajková is accessible to visitors who want to appreciate its historical and artistic value. The restaurant included dismantling and reconnecting the blade and the head with an iron pin embedded in lead, which was key to maintaining the integrity of the monument. The column is not only an important cultural monument but also a reminder of the rich history and artistic heritage of the region.
