Smírčí kříž (Rájec) Reconciliation cross

The peace cross in Rajc, a village in the district of Šumperk in Olomouc, is a historical monument with a rich cultural significance. This monument marks the site of a mass funeral of the battle of 1468 among the armies of George of Podebrad and Matyas Korvin, a key moment in Czech history. It is probably from the 16th century and was discovered in the construction of the railway in 1845.
