The Czech Brethren Evangelical Church began its work in Kralovice in 1921. Right from the start, collections began for the construction of their own congregation house. In 1927, the congregation purchased a building site on Žatecká Street. From several architectural designs, they selected the one developed by architect Hanuš Zápal. Construction progressed quickly. The ceremonial groundbreaking was performed on June 13th, 1934 by the oldest members of the congregation, and the cornerstone was laid on June 24th of the same year. Already on October 21st, 1934, the congregation house was ceremonially opened and consecrated.
