At that time, the city began to change, spread and its construction character began to draw in new directions. As early as the 199th, the city's construction changes began to be evident, for example, when building the first large walled house on the square, which demonstrated a new dynamic of growth. Our house comes from a very similar time. It was built as part of the original suburban development. At that time, the cities were not as densely built as they are today, but it was these houses on the edge of the inhabited parts that formed an important border between the city and the surrounding countryside. So this object is one of those authentic elements that allows us to understand what life in the suburbs was like over 200 years ago.

This ability to survive disasters and, over time, adapt to new conditions makes it a valuable object. This is why it was declared a cultural monument of the Czech Republic in nineteen ninety-five. This is not just an official term, it is recognition that this modest house is an integral part of our national heritage and that its preservation is important for future generations.
