On Blešenský Hill above the village of Dřemčice, not far from Třebívlice, there stood a castle whose name has not been preserved. It lay at an altitude of 520 meters. To this day, only ditches, embankments, and faint ground traces of buildings remain from it.
We have no written records about the castle's history. During excavations, only a single pottery fragment was found here, which dates to the fourteenth or fifteenth century. The castle's appearance itself tells us something. It had protruding fortifications, the kind that appears on castles built or rebuilt by Hussite commanders. It was probably a military strongpoint and its structures were largely made of wood.
The access road led from the west from the village of Blešno. It passed a farmstead at the northern foot of the hill, turned to the southeast, and after connecting with the path from Dřemčice continued to the east. Where it narrowed, the gate of the outer castle probably stood. The outer castle was bordered on one side by the ridge of the hill and on the other by fortifications, of which only small remains survive in the northern part.
From the outer castle, a path led north to a second gate and through it to the courtyard. This was surrounded by fortifications, but we know nothing more specific about their appearance. Closer to its eastern and northeastern side stood buildings of unknown type. To the northwest of the gate there was a semicircular structure whose purpose is also unknown. On the rocky outcrop in the southern corner of the courtyard there probably stood a tower, and beneath it a cistern was dug out. On the southeastern side of the courtyard there was a ditch and behind it a narrow terrace. Another ditch followed, then a triangular platform and beyond it only a slope.
A branch of the blue hiking trail between Třebívlice and Děkovka has led to the summit with the castle since 2014. You can also reach the top via forest paths from the nearby settlement of Blešno.
