The Chapel of the Holy Cross in the City of Heřman is a small church building of prismatic shape with a saddle roof and bell tower. It is located at the intersection of the streets of Jarkovsky and on May 5 in the City of Høman in Chrudim district. Since October 25, 2018 it has been protected as a real-estate cultural monument of the Czech Republic.

The originally Baroque chapel of the Holy Cross was built in the time of Jan Josef Špork. In 1817 the chapel was repaired, in 1871 it was fundamentally rebuilt and in 1884 a general repair took place in the new Romanesque style.

The Holy Cross Chapel is a small prism-shaped building with a facade lined with two Tuscan columns. Among them there is a half-circle arched door, equipped with a metal grid door. There are two terracotta coats of arms in the corners - Šporkovsky and tower. Under the saddle roof is located under the crown ledge a distinctive arc frieze. The roof ends with a tiny turret. In the side walls of the chapel there are high half-circle windows in the shambles. The facades of the chapel are smoothly plastered. On the corners of the chapel there are stone warlords.

The inner space of the chapel is surrounded by a vaulted vault with a pair of friendly sections above the windows. The walls are equipped with smooth plaster, cement floor with six-sided paving with perimeter brick belt. At the rear wall, a menza with a ledge end and closely covered corners is adhered to. The chapel device is modern. The chapel was renovated in 2019.

The chapel of the Holy Cross is remarkable by its architecture and creative creations. Her original Baroque resemblance was not preserved, but the New Romanesque reconstruction made her a remarkable monument. The chapel is important for its artistic value and historical significance.
