About two kilometres southeast of the village Drahonín, where the Loučka runs down with Hadevka, remains of chateau Košíkova are hidden. It also appears in written sources under the name Štymperk. Today it is protected as a cultural monument of the Czech Republic, even though from its former appearance only a torsion of the walls growing in the forest.

The creation of the chateau cannot be dated accurately. In 1360 the nearby villages of Drahonín and Unbelievers broke away from the chateau of Loučky and some time after this year Košíkov was created. However, archaeological findings move the beginning of the real settlement to the first half of the 15th century - the exact date of construction remains the subject of professional discussion.

The first documented owner dates from 1429 to 1430. It was Mikuláš Člupek, who was in the service of the mighty House of Pernstejn. The chateau was bought after it by Vojnové z Litavy, but their ownership was not peaceful - in 1437 Košíkov was still tried with Jan II from Pernštejn. The dispute suggests that the chateau was still considered a valuable asset at the time, yet his fate was unstoppable to extinction. In 1482, the sources of Košíkov are described as desolate. Exactly how the chateau was abandoned, sources do not explain.

One of the economic facilities of the chateau was the so-called Vítková courtyard, located on the way to Drahonína. This farm shows that Košíkov was not only a military fortress, but also served as a centre of management of the surrounding property.

The form of the chateau springs do not say much and the preserved remains are modest. Today, the visitor will find mostly terrain relics and fragments of masonry in the forested terrain above the confluence of two streams. This location - on the edge above the confluence - is typical of the chateaux of the medieval Moravian Karst and offers an idea of why the builder chose this place: natural protection from the watercourses reduced the requirements of fortification.

Košíkov is worth a trip especially for those who like inconspicuous places with authentic atmosphere. The locality lies in the quiet landscape of Drahan Highlands, a combination of forest walks from Drahonína and a view of the remnants of the forgotten noble mansion offers a pleasant half-day trip. State protection of the monument guarantees that the site will not be ignored, although it is a low ruin without tourist infrastructure.
