The Church of the Visitation of the Virgin Mary in Květnov is a Roman Catholic church situated on a terrace above a low hill northeast of Blatno. This Baroque-style structure, inscribed as a cultural monument in 1963, holds significant historical and cultural value within the region. From the eighteenth to the early twentieth centuries, it emerged as a prominent pilgrimage site, attracting up to 20,000 pilgrims annually from both sides of the Krkonoše Mountains.

The origins of this religious site date back to the sixteenth century, with the first written mention of its predecessor chapel appearing in 1592. The initial structure was likely built during the early seventeenth century and served as a spiritual center for the local community. By 1669, the Chomutov Jesuits had acquired a bell from Freiberg for this chapel, indicating their involvement in its administration. Significant architectural developments occurred in 1674 when the church underwent expansion; a sacristy was added along with a tower, marking an important phase in its evolution.

Architecturally, the Church of the Visitation features a single-nave design constructed using stone and fired bricks. The presbytery, part of the original chapel, is five-sided and supported by external buttresses at its corners. Two sacristies are attached to the north and south sides of the church, while a small chapel accessible from an exterior entrance on the southern side adds complexity. A tower with a bulbous dome and lantern was erected around this time, positioned centrally along the southern wall of the nave. The western façade features the main entrance, but additional access is available through doors in the west wall of the tower and an external entry leading to the gallery on the south side.

Throughout its history, the church has undergone several renovations reflecting the Baroque style prevalent during the Counter-Reformation period when Bohemia was part of the Habsburg Monarchy. The nave was extended westward around 1674, featuring a false vault ceiling adorned with stucco decorations. These early Baroque modifications continued until approximately 1685, including changes to the windows and the addition of a gallery in the western section of the nave. Later, between 1750 and 1800, further enhancements were made, such as constructing a southern sacristy, adding a balustrade to the gallery, and applying stucco decorations with Rococo cartouches on the walls.

The church houses several notable religious artifacts, including a Baroque main altar from around 1700, featuring a late Gothic wood carving of the Virgin Mary. Two side altars dedicated to Saint Anne and Saint John Nepomuk further enrich its interior. Above the main entrance on the western façade is a niche containing a statue of Our Lady of Květnov, adding to the church's spiritual significance.

A legend associated with the church tells of a shepherd who cursed his disobedient flock and encountered the Virgin Mary in a bush. This encounter led to the establishment of the pilgrimage site when villagers decided to build a chapel for the Virgin Mary after finding her statue. According to the tale, construction materials mysteriously moved back to the original location where the statue was found, leading to the church's current position.
