Kostel svatého Matouše (Malotice) Kostel

The Church of Saint Matthew in Malotice is a Roman Catholic filial church located in the village of Malotice, Středočeský kraj. First mentioned in 1309 with its main altar consecrated by Bishop Jan IV. z Dražic, it has undergone several transformations over the centuries. Initially serving as a parish church until the Thirty Years' War, it was later rebuilt and became part of Zásmuky parish. In 1864, under the initiative of new priest František Exner, most of the old structure was demolished to make way for the current Neo-Romanesque building completed in 1904. The church is recognized as a cultural monument by the Czech Republic.
