Kostel svatého Michaela in MaršíkovA in Šumperk district is a valuable Renaissance grafted building from 1609. It belongs to the oldest preserved folk objects in northern Moravia and is registered as a cultural monument of the first category.

The site of today's building was formerly the older church, which was torn down in 1609 due to poor technical condition. They completed the new evangelical building in the same year; they used wooden beams from a torn temple in the Great Losines to build it. The funding was provided by a church treasury of 187 tolars and the Žerotín family funds. After the battle on the White Mountain, Maršíkov was joined to the Los Angeles parish, making St. Michael's church filial.

It is a longitudinal church with a polygonal finish and a built-in octave tower above the roof ridge. The building has a hall and a sacristy on the north side. The high valb roof and the Baroque onion end of the lid from 1757 cover the shindle. The ship measures 14 metres in length and 11.5 metres in width, while the priesthood with a polygonal finish has a depth of 6 metres.

The interior was preserved in its original form. The inner walls are coated planks with renaissance ornament in brown-red and dark-grey colour, with cracks overlapping the bars. The ship has a cluster ceiling broken down by rectangular patterns that support two columns. A significant element is the wooden vault of the priestess, imitating stone construction, decorated with shallow cassettes and two lunettes on the south side. This work was inspired by the vault of St. John the Baptist Church in the Great Losines. In the west there is built-in bark on six carved columns. In the ship there is preserved paving from large platforms made of hail, in the sacristy the beam ceiling.

The equipment includes a gothic bell from the original building and a number of rare objects, some of which are today in the collections of OVM Šumperk. These include a crepe from the second half of the 16th century, a silver chalice of virtue from 1614, donated by the premhem II of Žerotín or the Renaissance Baptist from 1615. In the interior are located paintings, for example early Baroque views of Mary Magdalene from 1657 by George Bernhart, the painting of the Holy Trinity from 1717 donated by Ludvika of Lilgenau and the Rococo altar painting of Archangel Michael from 1782 by Ignac Raab. The building also contains the Rococo pulpit, the side altar of the Virgin Mary and Saint John Nepomuk and a unique baroque organ by Kaspar Weltzel from 1776. The inventory also includes statues and delivery angels from Bernard Kutzer from 1843 and baroque benches with the names of parishioners.

Significant adaptations, including paving, took place between 1655-1657. Rococo decoration was performed in 1776-1777. In 1842 the priesthood was paved and in 1900 the surrounding cemetery was abolished. The extensive reconstruction in 1930-1931 under the guidance of the builder Eduard Otho included a reduction of terrain, suspicion of plinth and exchange of rotten beams; the state contributed to the repair. Other interventions followed in the 1950s, 1964 and 1972, while static collateral took place in 1994. After 2000, the roof, masonry and ceiling were repaired from the funds of the village of Great Losina. During the repair of the roof and tower in 2015, tin was found in the makovik with the leaves and newspapers from 1753, 1888 and 1930.

At present, the church is no longer fully serving church purposes and the mass is held only once a year. Visitors can view the interior through the wooden grate in the open hall.

Kostel svatého Michaela presents unique testimony of folk architecture and Renaissance art of North Moravia. Its preserved interior and precious equipment make it an important target for every interested person in history.
