The Church of Saint Nicholas in Bělči in the Kladno region is a Gothic structure from the 14th century. It stands in the middle of the village on a vaulted hillock together with a wooden belfry and an old cemetery, where several tombstones have been preserved. Since 1967 it has been protected as a cultural monument.
It was founded in the first half of the 14th century. In 1352 it became a parish church and was also given the Church of All Saints in Bratronice. The last priest served there until 1432. After that the church belonged to Zbečno, and from 1786 to Bratronice. When the Bratronice parish was abolished in 2004, the church came again under the parish in Zbečno.
The belfry was built west of the church in 1717. Prince Jan Josef of Valdštejn had it built as an apology for seizing the manor courts and all the forests in Bělči.
In 1903 and 1904 the princely Fürstenberg building office added a new nave and sacristy according to the design of Eduard Sochor. A local native, Bedřich Svatoš, describes the reconstruction in the book Four Springs. When workers stripped the plaster from the presbytery, colored paintings were revealed underneath.
