The parish Church of Saint Andrew, the Apostle, is one of the oldest buildings in Třebechovic pod Orebem. It is protected as a cultural monument of the Czech Republic.
The first written mention of the church dates from 1384. In 1567, a great fire hit the town. Forty-nine houses burned down, along with the town hall, rectory, school, and the church was also destroyed. Repairs lasted from 1572 to 1575. The municipality was growing and the old church was no longer sufficient. In 1767, it was therefore demolished and only the original wooden tower remained from it.
