Kostel svatého Vavřince (Černčice) Church

The Church of Saint Lawrence in Černčice is a single-nave sacred building with a distinctive spire, serving as a visual landmark for the village and eastern Louny region. Located in the municipality of Černčice within Ústecký kraj, this church is protected as a cultural monument of the Czech Republic. The first documented mention of the Church dates back to 1369 when it was recorded as paying an annual papal tithe. In 1717, its parish affiliation shifted to Obora. A significant event in its history occurred in 1792 when a fire caused considerable damage, leading to the construction of a new presbytery and sacristy by 1795.

Notably, one grave is positioned directly in front of the western entrance—a distinctive placement within its cemetery grounds. The main altar, originally from a chapel in Postoloprty, showcases Baroque design with an image of Saint John Nepomucene and baroque sculptures of two bishop saints. Additionally, a stone cross on a columnar base from the 19th century stands nearby, adding to the site's historical ambiance.
