Kříž ve Vinarech is a Classicist monument at the firehouse on the bank of the pond Návesník in the centre of the village of Vinary in the district of Hradec Kralove. This sandstone crucifix with a height of about 4 meters occupies its history and architecture in which the elements of folk stonework and classicism intersect. The original fragment dates back to 1781, the current form was constructed in 1893. Since 1995 the building has been protected as a real-estate cultural monument of the Czech Republic.

The creation of the monument can date back to the end of the 18th century. The period then characterized Yoséphín's reforms and the gradual transition of the Baroque to Classicism. The 1781 fragment reflects this change in artistic expression, which became symmetrical and highlighted the classicist features. In 1893 the crucifix was restored and assembled from several parts, including the original fragment.

The construction is made of sandstone and stands on a graduated square plinth with a profiled ledge. The Sokl is supplemented by an Ionian warhead with a metal lantern, which brings delicate details and underlines the classical character. The shoulders of the cross have an edge and above the head of the crucified is the inscription INRI. The inscription "Built 1781, Renovated 1893" documents the history of the object.

The monument has been fenced by a metal grate over the years. It ensures its protection while allowing visitors to see the work. Neighborhood of the Pond of the Navesník and the firehouse gives another cultural and historical value to the place.

Kříž ve Vinarech is not only a protected real estate cultural monument of the Czech Republic, but also an important place for local and visitors. Historical value and architectural details make it an interesting goal for interested people interested in the heritage of Czech countries. The visit offers the opportunity to explore the monument itself and its surroundings and to understand the contexts that shaped the region.

Kříž ve Vinarech is therefore more than just a monument; is a testament to the past and cultural heritage of the region. His visit provides a unique opportunity to meet history and art wedged in classical forms.

Welcome to the picturesque Winars, where today we will look at one of the local monuments with deep roots - sandstone crucifix, which excels with its presence at the firehouse above the pond. You are now standing in front of this historic monument and let's look closer at it.

The origin of this crucifix dates back to 1781 when the original fragment was created. This element was supposed to be the basis for the future monument and has now become its core. Over a hundred years later, in 1893, the reconstruction was carried out and the crucifix was assembled into its present form of multiple parts. This process not only preserved the original elements, but also added the classicist details that we can still appreciate.

Let's now look at the architectural elements that define this monument. Note the sandstone crucifix with its distinctive face and carved features - it is most remarkable in this place. Sokl has an Ionian warhead, which adds a structure of nobility and classical elegance. In addition, note the metal lantern, which emphasizes the beauty of the night with its lighting.

Although we have little information about the architect or historical personalities associated with this place, it is clear that this monument was created for spiritual and community purposes. It was built here as a symbol of faith and a monument to the endurance of human values.

The interesting fact is that since 1995 this crucifix has been protected as a real-estate cultural monument of the Czech Republic. This highlights its importance not only for the local population, but also for the whole country.

Now that you've looked at the crucifix of the firehouse in detail and thought about its history and significance, we invite you to continue your investigation of Vinarek. You have many more views of the pond and surrounding green landscapes.

Thank you for your attention, and I hope you've kept your memories of this visit. Let local history and nature keep you entertained!
