Monuments – Batelov

Batelov je městys na česko-moravské hranici v okrese Jihlava, Kraje Vysočina. S počtem obyvatel přibližně 2 437 (k roku 2023) se nachází asi šestnáct kilometrů jihozápadně od města Jihlavy. Historie Batelova sahá až do roku 1279, kdy byla první písemná zmínka o osadě s tvrzí zvanou Na Vůbci. Během revitalizace Pilského rybníka byly archeologickými výzkumy objeveny stavební pozůstatky a kovové předměty ze 13. až 16. století, což svědčí o bohaté historii oblasti. V Batelově je evidováno tři památky, které přitahují zájemce o historii i kulturu.
