The castle Skryje, also known as Hrádek, was located in the eastern part of today's village Skryje in the district Brno-venkov. Among the medieval buildings in Moravia are the few documented ones - the hidden residence is practically not mentioned in preserved written sources.

The only proven owner to be mentioned is the nobleman Beneš, who wrote after the Shelters in 1358 so he could own this castle. After 1368, the village became part of more extensive territorial property, and so soon the seat itself was destroyed. However, it cannot be completely excluded that the castle existed even longer, perhaps even until the mid-15th century. As of 1437, there is a reference to an object called "castle" in the books of land and discovery, although it is not clear whether it is the remnants of a hidden mansion or Košikov Castle.

The castle was located on a rocky island that rises above the bend of the river Bobrovka. With its dimensions it was a small structure - its core had the shape of an elongated oval with dimensions of 38 times 15 meters. From the north side, where today stands a farm called Na chádek (considered as a possible successor to the older court), and also from the south the castle was separated by a ditch.
