Toužim Castle

The castle Toužim, also known as Genoa Castle, is a historic monument in Toužim, Karlovy Vary Region, Czech Republic. It was originally based on the site of older provocation, it was rebuilt after 1623 in late Renaissance and Baroque styles. The chateau later became part of the property of Baden Margrave until 1787, followed by the ownership of Schwarzenberg and Rod Beaufort-Spontin until post-1945. Since 2009, the city of Toužim has been responsible for its leadership.
