Husův sbor na Vinohradech Church

The Hus Congregational House, known as Husův sbor, is prominently located in Dykova Street within Prague 10. It serves as a testament to Czech architectural innovation and religious history. The three-part structure includes a prayer hall, residential building, and a prominent tower adorned with the Hussite chalice. The interior features an amphitheater-like seating arrangement that enhances visibility of the pulpit. In 1938, architect Jiri Jakub modified the design by converting a theatre space into a columbarium for funeral urns, reflecting adaptive reuse in response to changing needs.

The tower served as an impromptu radio station, providing shelter and communication support to Czech resistance fighters.
