The Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary is located in the Hostin, near the Mělníka. Together with the wooden bell and surrounding area it is protected as a cultural monument. Due to the abolition of the local parish in 2006, he became part of the non-ratovice parish, which belongs to the Prague archdiocese.

The oldest written mention of the church dates back to 1320, when it was recorded by the Vyšehrad Probost Jan Volek - but according to his data the church was parochial in 1290. The construction is therefore counted among the oldest sites in this territory. Over time, the church transformed several times. In 1615 its original Gothic shape was modified in Renaissance style and in the eighteenth century it underwent Baroque modifications. He remained a parish church until 1678, when he became a philistine of St. Gilji's Lužice Church. In 1784, the village was established in Hostín and since 1857 the church became parochial again, which lasted until the very end of 2005. Dendrochronological surveys of beams revealed the age of building elements - the oldest are from the turn of 1378- 1379, others come from around 1569- 1570.

The construction is a single-boat stone with a rectangular boat and a five-sided finish, which is dominated by five armrests. The tower with a square plan of five meters is placed in the southwest corner. On the south side you can see the original Gothic portal with remains of stone lining. The state of the roof covering with bags and needle-piercing roof of the tower corresponds to the long history of the construction.

The church interior has its charm. The ship is approximately 13 × 9 metres long and is opened in a five-sided priestry (9,8 × 7,7 m). This priesthood is glazed with a cross vault with a clamp and precious brackets in the form of heads. Remarkable are gothic sedilia in the south wall with broken arches and circles. On the north side there is a sandbox with vimperk and finals. The interior decor is supplemented by paintings of 18th-century worlds in the ovals of the ship. The main altar of 1910 bears the painting of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary by the priest Adolf Pergle, while the older altar painting from the eighteenth century hangs on the wall at the side altar. The value is increased by the organ from 1870, which was made by the organist Ferdinand Guth of New Haunted. The burrow in the west side of the tower resembles an old service function.

The wooden bell tower in front of the parish originally dates back to the 14th century and was rebuilt at the beginning of the 17th. Dendrochronological survey dates back to 1712. Its prism construction on a high suspect with a valb roof highlights the tradition of small village bell bells. The bell bell of St. Wenceslas from 1561 was preserved in the bell tower.

Over the centuries, a cemetery around the church that ended in 1824. Today, the church is a monument to the quiet, long continuity of Czech religious life in the countryside, where the Gothic past intersects with changes of later centuries. .
