The Church of St. Paul's Conversion in Loučná pod Klínovcem was a Baroque church built between 1731 and 1737. Situated within what is now part of the parish of Vejprty, this historical monument once exemplified architectural and cultural developments of its era. Despite being demolished in 1981, it remains notable for its contribution to the region's religious heritage.
The origins of the Church of St. Paul's Conversion are rooted in the Baroque period, known for grandeur and elaborate artistic expression across Europe. In the 18th century, Bohemia, then part of the Habsburg Monarchy, experienced significant cultural growth with the flourishing of Baroque architecture. The church's construction reflects this era's emphasis on religious fervor and aesthetic sophistication.
Architecturally, the Church of St. Paul's Conversion was a single-nave structure featuring a closed presbytery and a small sacristy. Its interior had flat ceilings and walls structured with pilasters, typical of Baroque design principles. A tower was added between 1801 and 1802 to enhance its architectural presence. The church's furnishings were contemporary to its construction period, further emphasizing its historical significance.
Throughout its history, the Church of St. Paul's Conversion faced numerous challenges leading to its decline. By the mid-20th century, it began deteriorating significantly. In 1960, it was closed by order of the District National Committee due to poor condition. Efforts in 1977 to remove its heritage protection status were unsuccessful, as restoration prospects were unrealistic. Eventually, in 1980, its heritage protection was removed, leading to demolition the following year.
Today, the Church of St. Paul's Conversion exists only in historical records and memories. The site where it once stood is now devoid of physical remnants, as most furnishings were moved to storage before demolition. Despite this, the church's story remains an integral part of Loučná pod Klínovcem's history.

The Church of the Conversion of Saint Paul in Loučná pod Klínovcem no longer exists. It stood on territory that today belongs to the parish of Vejprty.
The church was built between 1731 and 1737. A tower was added to it only at the beginning of the nineteenth century, in 1801 and 1802.
It was a single-nave structure with a presbytery closed by three sides and a small sacristy. The interior space had a flat ceiling and the walls were divided by pilasters. The furnishings of the church dated from the same period as the building itself.
In the nineteen fifties, the church began to deteriorate. In 1960 it was closed by order of the District National Committee. The parish was already being administered from Vejprty at that time. The parish priest at that time requested in 1977 that the monument protection be removed from the church. The request was denied. However, there was no real possibility of repairing the church, and so the building continued to deteriorate.
The monument protection was finally revoked in 1980. A year later, the dilapidated church was torn down. Its furnishings had been removed to storage facilities before that. Nothing whatsoever was preserved of the church itself.
In 2003, the local parish also ceased to exist. It was merged with the parish in Vejprtech.
