The Church of the Holy Cross is one of the cultural monuments of Třebosic. It is a parish church of the Třebosice parish, whose area includes a bell tower, a rectory with a barn and a wall.

According to the preserved Romanesque Baptist, it can be concluded that the church is at the site of the least medieval settlement. The first concrete report about it dates back to 1349, when it is listed as a parish church in the list of Litomysl bishops. In the first decades of the fourteenth century the church underwent Gothic reconstruction and enlargement. Today the visible form was created by successive baroque adjustments in the first half of the eighteenth century. The cemetery that originally surrounded the church was abolished in 1797. In 2008, rescue archaeological research was carried out, during which fourteen graves from the fourteenth to eighteenth centuries were uncovered. Their content - the remains of ceramics from the twelfth and thirteenth centuries - suggests that the settlement existed here in the early Middle Ages.

Architecturally, it is a tower-free single-boat church with a rectangular boat of 15,2 × 7,9 metres and a pentagon presbytery supported by four outer pillars. On the west side, the boat connects the baroque annex. The south side completes the hall, the sacristy extends on the north side. The church ship has a flat reed ceiling. Sakristii overlaps the coiled arch while the presbytery is encapsulated by a Gothic rib arch with five-edged ribs. The clamp of these ribs bears the fresco of God's eye, which has been preserved to this day.

The most valuable part of the church are wall paintings in presbytery from the second half of the 14th century. A triumphant arch boasts star motives and the characters of the prophets. Other frescoes depict the chronological scenes - Crucifixion, Christ the Perpeter with angel and bishop - and the figures of the world - Saint Wenceslas, Vojtěv and Vít. The paintings include ornamental plant belts. The Rococo main altar dates back to the mid-eighteenth century. From the same time, a pulpit decorated with figural reliefs and a baptiser with a sculpture depicting the Baptism in Jordan was preserved.

The church area contains additional structures important for understanding the development of the settlement. The wooden occluded bell tower with a stone suspect and low formatted ground floor was dendrochronologically dated until 1556. The rectory, built in 1786, is a ground floor building with a valb roof covered with bobbies. Its five-axis facade divides lizene frames with two-wing windows divided into six fields. A brick barn from the beginning of the twentieth century approaches the rectory; The northern part of the former barn was later converted into a garage.

Visiting the church in Třebosice offers a reading in architecture and painting from the late Middle Ages. It is a place where ages are layered - from Romanesque foundations to Gothic transformations to sensible baroque adaptations. The wall paintings and architectural details show the lasting care of parishioners and cut off the story of Central European countryside in its most important stages.
