The church of St. Bartholomew is located in the heart of Solopysk near the crossroads leading to Red Hrádek, Malenovice and Rozká. As a cultural monument of the Czech Republic, it represents an interesting example of the gradual development of Czech sacral architecture from medieval to modern times.

The temple dates back to the first half of the 14th century. He did not hold on to his original form for a long time - from 1750 to 1751 he went through a major Baroque reconstruction, which determined his appearance to this day. Since 1451, the church has been under the administration of the Cologne parish. As part of this parochial system, it serves believers for more than four and a half centuries.

It is an architectural building of a rectangular shape with a rectangular priestry. There are sacristy and orator on his south side. The church is entered through the hall which opens on the south side of the building. The characteristic prism tower is turned off in front of the west front. The windows of the church are the shape of half-circle arches. The waterproofing of walls creates bland lizens.

Special attention should be paid to the Gothic plate set in the south wall of the tower, which dates back to 1490. The plate bears the coat of arms of the local Zeman family of the Peace of Solopysk - armored shoulder with sword-cutting sharp. This is an extremely valuable proof of medieval heraldry and the presence of local aristocracy in the countryside. The inside of the church is encapsulated with pilasters, with ceiling frescoes depicting the scenes from the life of St. Bartholomew, his birthmark.

Today's interior equipment comes from the second half of the 19th century and has a neo-Renaissance character. Only the Rococo pulpit was preserved from the original medieval and Baroque facilities, which thus represents a bridge to the past of the church. It is this layer of history - from Gothic to Baroque to 19th century - that makes St. Bartholomew's Church an interesting visit. The monument makes it possible to understand how sacral structures change and develop in time, and how medieval objects - like the coat of arms of 1490 - testify to the life of the local community in the past.

The Church of Saint Bartholomew is located in the center of Solopysk, at the intersection of roads leading to Červený Hrádek, Malenovice, and Rozkoš. It is protected as a cultural monument of the Czech Republic and falls under the administration of the Kolín parish.

The church dates back to the first half of the 14th century. During the reconstruction from 1750 to 1751, the medieval structure was transformed into a Baroque church.

It is a single-nave building of rectangular shape with a rectangular chancel. On the south side of the chancel lies the sacristy and an oratory. On the south side there is also a vestibule through which one enters the church. In front of the western façade stands a prismatic tower. The windows are semicircular and the walls are articulated by subtle pilasters.

A notable feature is a Gothic stone tablet from 1490, set into the south wall of the tower. It bears the coat of arms of the local noble family Mírků from Solopysk. On it is an armored arm with a sword, which is striking an ostrich.

The interior of the church is vaulted with panels resting on pilasters. Ceiling frescoes depict scenes from the life of Saint Bartholomew. The interior furnishings are Neo-Renaissance in style and date from the second half of the 19th century. From the original equipment, only a Rococo pulpit has been preserved.
