The Church of Saint Kilian in Davli is an originally medieval building, and its dedication is unique in Bohemia. Saint Kilian was an Irish-Scottish missionary. However, in the eighteen-eighties, archaeologists found remains of Romanesque masonry. This pushed back the foundation of the church to the middle of the twelfth century.
The Romanesque church was severely damaged in 1278 during an invasion by the Brandenburgers into Bohemia. The neighbouring craftsmen's settlement called Sekanka suffered as well.
