Notably, a bell acquired in 1503 survived requisitions during both World Wars, underscoring its resilience through turbulent times. The church also houses an altarpiece featuring the Immaculate Conception of the Virgin Mary by Ignáce Düllinger, dating back to 1864, adding artistic value.

The Parish Church of Saints Peter and Paul stands in the center of Cizkrajov in the South Bohemian Region. It is protected as a cultural monument of the Czech Republic.
The church was supposed to have been built in the commune around the 13th century. Its present late Gothic appearance, however, likely emerged around the year 1500. The builder was supposed to be Jörg Estreicher from Slavonic. The tower was added only in 1503 and was apparently wooden. Later it was completely rebuilt and bricked up. From the same year comes the bell, which survived the requisitions in both world wars.
In 1561, the church underwent reconstruction and its nave was given a vault. Further alterations followed in the years 1703 and 1751 and then in the second half of the 19th century.
It is a two-nave structure with a set-back multi-sided presbytery, which is supported by buttress pillars. On the north side stands a prismatic tower and a sacristy, on the south side is a vestibule. The roof is covered with tiles, the tower has a metal roof. The interior space is vaulted with a ribbed vault, only the space under the tower has a barrel vault.
The altars were procured probably around 1740. The main altar is decorated with a painting of the Immaculate Conception of the Virgin Mary, which in 1864 was painted by Ignác Düllinger.
An unusual feature of the church is its connection with the neighboring rectory. Both buildings are linked by a connecting corridor, which is also called a bridge.
The church is part of a cemetery complex with a boundary wall and a cast iron cross. In front of the boundary wall stands another stone cross.
