Its construction was festively completed in the 1940s. The first written mention of the village itself and this church appears in the historical sources of the year 13 hundred and sixty-nine. Over the centuries, the building has undergone several reconstructions, among which are particularly baroque adaptations from the eighteenth century, which have given birth to today's face. But the fate of the church was not always peaceful. In the mid-twentieth century, he was hit hard by lightning and a fire. But thanks to meticulous and selfless restoration, he rose from the ashes and still tells us his story.

Now pay attention to the architecture itself. You are looking at an extraordinary early Gothic building, which is one of the oldest and most valuable monuments in the region. If you look at the facade of the tower, notice the sandstone portal. The year MDXXIX is engraved, as well as the interesting features of the masonry tools left to us by the former stonemakers. Inside the church are rare, preserved wall paintings and Gothic stone elements, which belong to the real treasures of our medieval art. The entire historical area, including the fenced wall and the gate, was rightly listed on the list of cultural monuments in nineteen hundred and sixty-four.

In fourteen hundred ninety-four, the church became the property of the noble House of Haugvice of Biškouc. Later, in the stormy year of sixteen hundred twenty, the church within the peaceful estate was joined under the Olomouc bishop. The important historical personality of Cardinal František of Dietrichštejn is also linked to this period, whose influence on the whole area was absolutely essential. Imagine what negotiations and decisions took place here throughout history, while under these vaults, people sought comfort and hope.
