Monuments – Peruc

Peruc je městys ležící asi jedenáct kilometrů východně od Loun a blízko řeky Ohře. Místní obec s počtem 2 347 obyvatel je známá svou historií, která sahá až do roku 1170, kdy se poprvé písemně zmínila. Dnes je Peruc oblíbeným místem pro návštěvu díky přírodní památce Štola Stradonice severně od obce a kulturním akcím, jako je letní hudební festival Plutofest. Městys se pyšní historickým znakem a vlajkou udělenou v roce 1998. Pro přístupnost je zde křižovatka silnic II/237 a II/239, stejně jako železniční stanice na trati Kralupy nad Vltavou – Louny.
