Plzeň, známá svou historickou a kulturní významností, je čtvrtým největším městem České republiky s přibližně 188 tisíci obyvateli. Ležící na západních Čechách, hraje klíčovou roli jako metropole Plzeňského kraje a je známá svým průmyslovým rozvojem i pivovarnickou tradicí. Město se pyšní bohatou historií sahající až do 10. století, kdy bylo založeno jako přemyslovské hradiště. Plzeň je také domovem Škody Transportation a pivovaru Plzeňský Prazdroj, který v roce 1842 uvařil první plzeňský ležák. Kulturně se město projevuje prostřednictvím různých kulturních domů a divadelních představení.
