City Hall in Manětín, no. 88, is a neo-Renaissance building built around 1900 and completed in 1910. It is located on the square opposite the church of St. John the Baptist and is part of a block of town buildings, which also includes adjacent buildings No. 89 and No. 91. Its architecture is characteristic of the palace type with valuable interior equipment. City Hall in Manětín is a cultural monument protected by the entry into the list of cultural monuments since 18 February 1964 and belongs to the area protection of the urban heritage zone Manětín declared on 10 September 1992.

There was a 19th century inn in its place, the existence of which is documented by a stable cadastral from 1839. The original building served even after the completion of the new town hall on its ground floor, while the upper floor was designed for city hall offices. This historical context reflects the period of modernisation and industrialisation in Central Europe.

Architecturally, the town hall is an ordinary patrols object with side rizality, two symmetrically placed semicircular arched entrances and rectangular ground plan. The sheet covered by the saddle roof and the ethereal shading of the walled storey wings on both the west and the north sides of the yard give the building a distinctive character. In the right part of the north wing there is a two-axis garage which is not protected as a monument.

The town hall is part of the block of town hall buildings, which also includes house No. 89 (city and city office) and house No. 91 (former town hall with court, now city library). Currently, the building serves as an information tourist centre (on the ground floor), part of the city hall and warehouse.

Manětín is known for its rich history and cultural heritage. In addition to the town hall in No. 88, the church of St. John the Baptist is located on the square and the old Mannetian town hall (house No. 91), a Baroque one-storey building from 1721 with a classical reconstruction at the end of the 18th century.

The town hall in Manětín can be considered as an important element of the local monument zone, protected for its historical and architectural value. Its Neo-Renaissance style and significant location in the square make it an attractive place for visitors who want to know the history and architecture of the region.
