The current town hall no. 181 is located on the southeast side of Rýchor Square, where there was once a brewery pond. The building was built in 1865-1866 as a school. Only after the opening of the new school facility in 1897 did the town hall settle here. Today, the municipal office is based here.

Architecture is late-classicist with elements of history. It is a brick one-storey structure with a rectangular plan and a low valb roof made of galvanized sheet. The facade is supplemented by a central three-axis risalite with a deeply embedded sandstone entrance with a shield. There is a stucco city sign above the entrance and a two-wing cassette door with a profiled ledge. Rizalite closes the shield with a round clock dial, which is decorated with a small tower with an octave lantern and a boulder from 1886. The smooth facade has a light pastel brown colour, sandstone plates on a plinth and a profiled cordon ledge orbiting both the main and side facades.

The building is covered with two valenas of sealed rooms, leading to a two-part staircase. On the floor there is a stairwell flat vaults and next to the entrance a longitudinal corridor with a flat vaults.

Protection of the town hall as a monument since 1958 underlines its importance for the Rýchor Square and the town monument zone. The construction not only has architectural value, but also testifies to the history of local administration and education system.
