Správcovský dům Liechtensteinského panství Villa

Správcovský dům Liechtensteinského panství is a Art Nouveau villa located in Prague 10-Uhranives, which testifies to the architectural art of the early 20th century. This monument, built in 1905 by the Prince's engineer Antonín Mazáč, is excellent in its unique architecture and historical significance as the management house of Liechtenstein Manor since 1911. Since 2004 it has been protected as a cultural monument of the Czech Republic along with historical fencing, garden gazebo and garden.

The foundation of the villa in 1905 was the result of a project by Antonín Mazáč, which designed it in Art Nouveau style. This architectural direction, characteristic of the early 20th century, reflected cultural and artistic changes in Europe, especially in the Czech Republic, where modern artistic directions and industrialization developed. The villa was built on a plot which was not a corner area at the time, as the street of Vackářov was created only later.

The architecture of the management house is characterized by shallow risalty and high tiered shields with a range of creenings that decorate vegetative stucco decoration. The street facades have half-circled windows and a wooden three-sided braid on the top floor. The ground floor annex carries a small terrace with the coat of arms of the Liechtenstein family, which highlights the historical relationship to the estate. The Valb roof is equipped with original windows and doors with Art Nouveau details, railing staircase with metal rods and decorative stained glass fillings.

Since 1911, the villa served as a management house of Liechtenstein Manor. This function underlines its administrative role in the management of large land holdings, which was typical of aristocratic families at the time. In 2004 the villa and its surroundings were recognised as a cultural monument of the Czech Republic, confirming its historical and architectural importance.

An interesting thing is a staircase with metal railing decorated with Art Nouveau motifs and preserved original windows and doors, which still maintain their historical nature. This monument is not only an architectural milestone but also a witness of social and cultural changes in the region.
