The estate No. 3 in Ejpovice, located on the village baits in the district of Rokycany, is a cultural and historical monument listed since 16 March 1964. This closed building was built in the first half of the 19th century. Its creation is related to the processes of industrialization and modernization of construction in Bohemia, when specific architectural styles were created in European romanticism.

The architecture of the estate is characterized by a facade with a belt ledge and stucco windows. In the center there is a stone semi-circular gate with a triangular shield and cross. A smaller niche with a cross between two pilasters is inserted into the shield. On the left of the gate is a gate that says, "Praise the Lord Jesus Christ." Next to it is a ground-floor residential building, which has two windows in its shield broken into the original three window axes. On the other hand, there is a granary with one reclining window on the front side and a triangular mash frame in the shield. The granary can be entered by two entrances at different height levels. The front of the residential part is broken down by belt rustic and chabrac under a Fabion-type ledge. All objects have saddle roofs covered with bags.

Although detailed ownership information is not substantiated, architecture and location suggest that the estate was built for a family with considerable resources. For centuries since its rise, the building has been subjected to partial modifications, suggesting its ongoing adaptation to new needs.

Registration on the list of cultural monuments on 16 March 1964 underlined its historical importance and ensured the protection of this important building. Today, the estate maintains its architectural integrity and represents a valuable monument. Its location on the village makes it accessible to visitors interested in the history and development of local construction in the 19th century. This monument offers a unique opportunity to explore the cultural heritage of the region.

Welcome to Ejpovice. Please stop for a moment and take a deep breath. Right now, you're standing in front of one of the silent witnesses of local history, which is a residence with a descriptive number of three. If you look at her, you'll probably be the first to be interested in her closure. The whole building is designed as a courtyard of a closed building, which means that the buildings surround the inner space and separate it from the outside world. This method of construction was not only practical, but also brought a sense of security and privacy for the people who lived and worked here. Feel this atmosphere of peace and stability that this building still radiates to us after many years.

Now let's move back in time together. Imagine the world almost two years ago. It is twenty-five eighteen year, approximately eighteen hundred twenty-five year, when this estate was established. It was a time of great change. The first half of the nineteenth century was a period in Czech countries when the way in which people approached work, land and construction itself began to change. It was at this time that the processes that we now know as industrialization and modernization began to take place in the Czech Republic. Although it may seem that the ordinary estate in Ejpovice is not in common with the large factories, the truth is that even outdoor construction has begun to draw on new knowledge, new materials and new aesthetic claims. This estate is precisely the embodiment of the modernization of rural construction at that time.

Now I'd like to ask you to pay full attention to the appearance of the building itself. Please take a look at the front facade, the wall facing the street, which you are standing closest to right now. Note that the surface is not completely smooth. Architects, even though their names were forgotten and we don't know them, worked with details that give the building rhythm and elegance. Notice the so-called belt rims. These are the horizontal rising stripes that optically divide the facade and give it a certain structure. These elements are not just an ornament, but they point to an effort to make the house tasteful and modern at the time. And now look at the windows. They're decorated with stucco, which are the decorative frames around the glass. In the nineteenth century, stucco was a very popular material for the creation of fine ornaments that were intended to give the building nobility and richness.

Now please focus on the center of the entire facade. It is here that the most significant element of the entire building is the stone semi-circular gate. This gate served as the main entrance to a closed court and is the real jewel of this house. Look up, above the arch of the gate itself. You'll see a triangular shield that resembles ancient structures and gives the input a monumental character. And if you look even more carefully, you'll notice a cross embedded in this shield. This symbol tells us about the deep faith of the people who lived here, while giving the whole place spiritual dimension and historical seriousness. The combination of stone, the geometric shape of a triangle and the religious symbol of the cross makes this entry a dominant, which immediately attracts the vision of every visitor.

When we think about the people who were associated with this settlement, we have to admit that time with them was relentless. The specific names of the owners or builders are missing from our records, but that is precisely the magic of this place. This estate is not a monument to one particular famous person, but it is a monument to everyday life in the nineteenth century. It's a story about the craftsmanship of unknown builders and generations of people who have cultivated land here, kept animals and built their homes. It's a story about how the countryside turned into a more modern space, but it kept its tradition and character.

You may be wondering why this building is being protected today and why we consider it important. The answer will lead us to a thousand nine hundred sixty-four. On the 16th of March this year, the estate number three in Ejpovice was officially listed in the list of cultural historical monuments. That means the state has recognized its irreplaceable value for our culture and history. The fact that the building has lived to this recognition is due to its quality and how well its architectural details have been preserved. It is fascinating to realize that while the world was changing, new technologies were coming and political regimes were changing, these stone gates and stucco windows remained as silent evidence of how they were built two years ago.

Now try to imagine for a moment what sound was accompanied by the morning clock in 1825. Do you hear in the spirit of horse-fighting, a carriage drawn along the road or the voices of the people who have just walked through this stone gate into their yard? This estate is not just a pile of rock and mortar, it's a time capsule. It is a place where there is a practical approach to agriculture with a desire for beauty and modernity. This combination makes manor number three such an extraordinary object.

Now that you've looked at the main details of the facade and the gate, I suggest you look around again slowly. Feel how this building fits into Ejpovic's overall image. It is a harmonious whole that reminds us that history is not only in textbooks, but is present in every stone that surrounds us.

Thank you for coming with me to this beautiful monument. I hope you were interested in the details of this estate and that you felt a connection with the people who lived here a long time ago. Now invited to further explore the surroundings. Go through the rest of the village, look for other old houses and look for clues of the past that are hidden in the details. I wish you a pleasant continued journey and many new discoveries. Goodbye.
