14|15 Baťův institut is a regional cultural educational centre in Zlín, which takes place in the historical context of the famous Bata factory. The project design was prepared between 2004 and 2008, the architectural competition took place in 2009. The building permit was issued at the end of 2010 and the project was implemented between 2010 and 2011. The opening ceremony took place in 2013.
The architectural design of the original buildings was developed by the Bat architect Jiří Voženílek, their new design was designed by a team of architects Juraj Sonlajtner and Jakub Obírka.
