Dům čp. 64 House
Dům čp. 64 in the Moravian Budejovice district Třebíč is a protected cultural monument. It represents a rare example of urban architecture. The construction dates back to the beginning of the 17th century when it was built in a late Renaissance style. In the 18th century, its Baroque reconstruction followed.
The building is located in Purcner Street, across from the meat shop. It is located where the southern city gate used to stand. This location house historically tied to key communication and business points of the city.
Architecturally, it is a single-storey structure on a rectangular ground plan with a saddle roof. The ground floor is covered with vaulted vaults, while the ceilings on the floor are flat. A short wing with a half-board roof and connecting modern ports protrude into the yard. However, these ports are not part of the cultural monument. Neither the two converted economic buildings on the east side of the court nor the wall on the south side are covered.
The facade of the house is broken down by window axes, Lizzy frames and the main profiled ledge. On the ground floor there are three rectangular windows, an interpreter, an entrance and two other windows. A significant element is the segmented arched portal with paws and profile archive. The floor has five rectangular windows placed in the face of the wall.
The southern shield facade is carried out with corner pilasters, cordon ledge and main richly shaped ledge. On the ground floor there is an asymmetrically located rectangular entrance and one window, on the floor there are three rectangular windows. The entire composition is closed by a baroque two-stroke volt shield with a window in the shambrane in its axis.
Dům čp. 64 is a valuable witness to the urban development of Moravian Budejovice and a demonstration of the transformation of the Renaissance building in Baroque form. For people interested in the architecture and history of the city, this building represents a major stop in the study of local buildings.

Seasonal recommendations
In spring, the surroundings of the house are awakened into colours and fine light, which highlights the details of the facade. It is advisable to choose the morning time when the air is fresh and clean. We recommend light but laminated clothing to protect you from the variable spring weather while walking around the building.
In the summer months, the scene is dominated by sharp sun and hot air, which creates rich contrasts on the walls of the building. It is best to visit a place in the early morning or late evening, where fewer people and temperatures are more pleasant. Don't forget the headgear and the light summer dress.
Autumn brings golden shades of leaves and a foggy atmosphere to the space that gives the memory a mysterious touch. For the best outside experience, we recommend to start in the morning when the sun shines through the morning fog. Wet shoes and a warm sweater are suitable.
Zimą works in contrast to freezing air and possible snow layer, which calms the surroundings. In advent time there is a particularly cozy mood, although the light is short and gray. It is necessary to wear warm winter clothes, gloves and shoes with anti-slip soles.
