Let's move on to the very beginnings of this place. Already in the 16th century, namely in the year fifteen hundred forty-seven, the original fortress stood here. A few years later, in the year fifteen hundred fifty-two, the village Hlubočepy bought a new owner and thus began to write a new chapter of the local land. The original defensive structure gradually lost its military importance and turned into a mansion that was better suited to the needs of the owners at the time. For many years, the house has served as an economic center of the whole neighborhood. The fundamental turning point in history occurred in 16 hundred and sixty-nine, when the original fortress was converted into a castle by the order of Jesuits. Hansfalkovský dvůr has thus become a solid part of Jesuit goods, which has significantly increased its historical importance throughout the region.

Now pay attention to the very form of the construction you have in front of you. This complex has undergone a very interesting and rich architectural transformation during its development. If you look at the facade and the overall layout of the building, notice how different building styles mix. The development began at the Renaissance base, continued through spectacular baroque modifications and the entire transformation completed later classical adaptations in the nineteenth century. Each of these building layers left its unique manuscript on the face of the court. It's not just an ordinary house, it's a living textbook of building art, where the old speak to the new and form a harmonious whole.

Behind these walls are the fates of many important personalities who shaped not only this place, but also the whole Czech history. The court is associated with the name Hanus Falka, after which this monument bears its name. Pavel Michna z Vacínova and later Václav Michna also left a significant trail. The Jesuits have already written their strong chapter here, which in the seventeenth century had a new form and purpose. In later times, the court was also part of the property of the Desfour family, which also affected the operation and form of the entire economic complex. When you look at the windows and the doors, try to imagine the generations of people who walked through here, dealing with everyday things, managing land and writing the history of this corner of Hlubochep.

The interesting thing that fascinates the most in this place is the longevity and ability to transform. Hansfalkovský dvůr is a historical monument with a rich past dating back to the sixteenth century, as we said. Although the time passed and the owners took turns, the complex was able to absorb the effects of Renaissance, Baroque and Classicism without losing its unique face. The small defensive fortress has gradually evolved into a castle which served as an important economic and administrative centre.
