St. Michael's Church is a significant Baroque church built in the second half of the 17th century in South Bohemia. It is one of the oldest early Baroque sacral buildings in Czech countries, built by Jan Norbert ze Šternberka between 1667 and 1670. The unique architecture and historical significance of the church make it a remarkable monument worth visiting.

church, built as a cemetery, reflects cultural and artistic trends of the era. A Baroque style has emerged in Europe that has influenced architecture and art.

The single-boat building has polychrome windows and octagonal lantern with Sternberg star. The facade is decorated with two square towers. The interior boasts three altars with statues of saints, and the church bells were removed during the First World War and replaced in 1925.

Jan Norbert ze Šternberka, the owner of the church, probably played an important role in its construction. The church was protected as a cultural monument in 1958.
