The Church of the Holy Angels of the Guardians was the extinct Roman Catholic cemetery temple in Vysočany in the district of Chomutov. This Baroque building was first mentioned in 1341 and was demolished in the middle of the twentieth century after several reconstructions.
The oldest history of the construction was preserved records from 1341. During the sixteenth century, a church boat was probably restored using an older masonry and a tower was added to the building.
The construction went through a major transformation in 1734-1738 when the architect Octavio Broggio modified it in a Baroque fashion. The boat had a square plan with bevelled corners and on the east side a rectangular presbytery was attached to it, ended with a semi-circular apsid. The facade was divided by pilaster bundles and ended with a wavy triangle shield. The main entrance portal was decorated by a wavy ledge that ended the field of supraport. The temple ship was encapsulated with a flat arch and an altar niche with a condom. The tower was connected to the east side and from the tower led to the higher floors of the spiral staircase. The tower was encircled by a cross nail vault.
Several major events took place in the twentieth century. In the early 1960s, the army set up an observation room in the tower, stealing part of its equipment. In 1964 the memorial protection of the church was abolished, which led to its demolition in 1965. The building was approximately 100 metres west of St. Wenceslas' church.
Today there is only historical space at the site of the former church. Visiting this location in the Chomutov district offers an opportunity to explore the place where once stood a significant Baroque temple, and to reflect on the fate of lost monuments.

In Vysočany on the Chomutovsko region stood a cemetery church of the Holy Guardian Angels. Today it no longer exists. It was located approximately one hundred meters west of the Church of Saint Václav.
The first mention of the church dates from thirteen forty-one. In the sixteenth century, its nave was probably rebuilt, using earlier masonry, and a bell tower was added. Between seventeen thirty-four and seventeen thirty-eight, the church was remodeled in the Baroque style by architect Octavio Broggio.
The nave stood on a square floor plan with chamfered corners and was covered by a flat barrel vault. To the east it was adjoined by a rectangular presbytery, which ended with a semicircular apse. The altar niche was covered with a conch vault.
The façade was articulated by bundles of pilasters and was topped by a wavy triangular gable. Above the main entrance portal was a field with a supraporta, finished with a wavy cornice. The bell tower was attached to the eastern side of the church. The vestibule had a cross rib vault and from there a spiral staircase led to the upper stories.
At the beginning of the nineteen sixties, the army established an observation post in the bell tower. At that time, some of the church's furnishings were stolen. In nineteen sixty-four, its monument protection was revoked, and in nineteen sixty-five, the church was demolished.
