It was in the years nine hundred forty to ten nine hundred forty years that this house was created here. The author of the whole design was architect Zdeněk Kejř. At that time it was no longer new to build practically and efficiently, but architecture began to seek new ways to combine benefits with emotions. This villa is the epitome of such a transition. All of these details together form a harmonious whole that combines the cold logic of functionalism with a more subtle, romanticizing approach.

Although we do not have to talk today about the specific personalities that lived in the house, the very existence of the villa in this style tells the story of the ambitions of the time. Imagine people who moved to a house that looked like the future in the year nine hundred forty-one. It was a time of uncertainty, but also a time of courage to experiment with forms. This villa thus serves as a monument to human desire for beauty and modernity even in difficult times.

It is fascinating that the combination of aerodynamic shapes and clobeton still works modern even after over 80 years. It is this uniqueness that has led to the fact that since the year two thousand seven the villa and its adjoining garden has been registered as a real cultural monument of the Czech Republic. This means that the state has recognised its irreplaceable value for our heritage and decided to protect it for future generations.
