Křetín Castle stands in the village of the same name in the Blansko district. Its present appearance is neoclassical.
There was originally a fortified manor on this site. The first mention of it dates from 1521. The family of lords from Křetín is, however, noted already in the 14th century. In the 16th century, Jindřich Vojenický z Vojenic rebuilt the fortified manor into a Renaissance castle in the shape of a horseshoe. A century later, a chapel was added to it.
In 1852, the castle caught fire. Nine years later, Walderode converted it into farm buildings and built a completely new castle nearby.
In 1933, the castle became the property of Hubert Svoboda, a building contractor from Brno. After the war, the castle was confiscated from him based on the Beneš Decrees. From 1949, it housed a children's rehabilitation centre, and from 2011, it has been a treatment facility.
