The townhouse number 88 is a terraced house on Fryštátská Street in Fryštát, a district of Karvina. It is among the oldest houses on this street. It was declared a cultural monument in nineteen ninety-three.

It is a brick plastered single-storey building on a rectangular plot. The gabled roof is covered with black asbestos shingles. The street facade has five window axes and a smooth surface. A cordon ledge separates the storeys, and at the top the building is finished with a profiled crown ledge. In the middle of the ground floor is an entrance with a semicircular vault. On either side are rectangular entrances and shop windows. The upper floor is decorated with pilasters, which are flat vertical strips in the wall. Above the windows are simple flat lintels. The original four-winged windows have been replaced with double-winged wooden windows. Facing the courtyard, the facade has four window axes. On the western side of the courtyard stands a single-storey extension with a flat roof that serves as a terrace accessible from the second floor.
