Košíře, historická čtvrť na pravém břehu Motolského potoka, jsou součástí Prahy 5. Osídleny již v 10. století, mají bohatou minulost sahající až do roku 1146. V průběhu staletí náležely různým šlechtickým rodům a byly postiženy požárem v roce 1742. Po povýšení na město v roce 1895 se zde rozvíjel průmysl, čímž Košíře proměnily v sídelní oblast s bohatou historickou a kulturní památkovou dedičstvím. V současnosti evidujeme v této lokalitě čtyři památky.
