The synagogue in Sláňé, built in 1865, is a historical monument located in Fričov Street, about 100 metres northeast of Masaryk Square. This object is characterized by a Moorish style with new Romanesque elements and played an important role for the Jewish community of Salné. She replaced the previous prayer house of the Israeli religious community, which was located in the inn "U Temple" on Kynská Street.

The formation of the synagogue was linked to the emancipation of the Jewish population and the development of the Czech Jewish movement in the 19th century. In May 1864, the Jewish community obtained permission to build, which led to its completion for the following year. This time frame reflected cultural and social changes in the Austrian Empire, which allowed the Jewish community to build a new prayer house.

The architecture of the synagogue is characteristic of the Moorish style, then fashion style. The building has a two-storey structure with orientation in the east-west axis and a saddle roof. The Eastern Shield is divided by two window axes, between which was placed aron ha-codesh, a symbolic place for storing the Torah coils. Above it was a circular window and two smaller windows. The entrance to the building is from the west side with a portal decorated by columns, above which is ten and a large circular window in the shield. The wooden women's gallery was built in 1895 on the north and west side of the building, accessible by staircase from the neighboring Jewish school.

The history of the synagogue is linked to several key events. In its interior was the rabbi Filip Bondy, who was a proponent of the Czech Jewish movement and introduced the use of Czech during Jewish services. The synagogue served as a prayer hall until World War II, when repressive measures against Jewish people began. In 1942, liturgical items were taken to the Central Jewish Museum in Prague. Since 1958 the synagogue has been listed in the list of cultural monuments and since 1961 it has belonged to the State.

The building has undergone several changes in its function: it served as a warehouse, housing units and branch of the State District Archive of Kladno. Since 2013, the Police Department has been operating here. The original prayer hall was divided into two floors and individual rooms, while the arched ceiling with plastic stars was preserved.

Today, synagoga ve Slaném is an important cultural monument that testifies to the rich history of the Jewish community and its contribution to local culture. It can be visited not only by people interested in history, but also by those who want to understand the complex relationship between different religious and cultural traditions. The synagogue in Salané is not only a monument to the past, but also a place where history and the present meet.
